Review
Lenovo Legion's new entry level Gaming laptop, the new Legion 5i. The 5i is a successor to Legion y540 and borrows some design elements too. But the laptop has a slightly different design with more angular and sharp body lines making it more stealthy and less Gamery. The laptop still manages to pack in a lot of performance underneath with Intel's latest 10th Generation H-series processors. There are 2 processor options- Quad Core i5 and Hexa-core i7. Like the previous generation, this one too opts for Nvidia's graphics, particularly the GTX 1650 and 1660 series with some variants having RTX 2060 and 2070 as well. Overall, the laptop is not a compact and slim device but instead a medium sized laptop with enough room for heat dissipation for optimum performance. Coming to playability of Games, most of the regular games would work fine such as CS:GO, Rocket Leagure, FortNite, PUBG will easily run around the 100FPS mark at high 1080p setting. AAA titles such Red Dead Redemption 2, Tomb Raider, GTA V, Watch dogs and rest would run below 60 FPS depending on the settings.
