Review

The pavilion gaming laptop is a premium gaming laptop from HP. The metallic design, thin and light form factor and latest specs makes it a good option in the sub $1000 range. This pavilion gaming laptop is the 2020 updated version with newer processor and minor updates. There are two variants: Intel and AMD. The Intel variant is bit expensive than the AMD, but offers more cores and perfomance. The graphics card option is common throughout with Nvidia's GTX lineup. Specifically the 1050, 1650 and 1660 series of graphics card. The main selling point of this device is the build quality and design. It has a metal body and feels very compact and sturdy. The specs of this laptop are upto par with other laptops in the same range. The performance of the pavilion 15 gaming laptop is adequate and has a heating issue with the higher end models during intense load. Still this laptop remains a compelling option for many as it can be used as a daily driver or a gaming centric laptop.
